About Retirement

In our daily lives, our minds are often clouded by cluttered thoughts, worries, and constant distractions. This prevents us from seeing reality clearly and distances us from inner peace. Meditation is the essential method for clearing confusion and developing a clear and luminous mind.

What does it mean to have a clear mind?

According to the teachings of Buddha, the nature of our mind is clarity and cognition. When our mind is calm and clear, we can perceive things with greater wisdom, make better decisions, and live with more serenity.

Benefits of this withdrawal

🧘‍♂️ You will learn to meditate correctly to generate a clear and focused mind.
🌿 You will eliminate mental confusion and reduce stress, achieving greater peace and emotional stability.
💡 You will develop a deeper and wiser perception of life, free from distortions and projections.

The practice of meditation

In this urban retreat we will focus on the analytical and placement meditation, Two essential methods for deepening our inner experience. As Geshe Kelsang Gyatso explains in New Meditation Manual, First, we contemplate the meaning of the teachings, and then we convergently focus on the object of meditation to become familiar with it.

An opportunity to transform the mind

Through the practice of meditation, we can maintain a clear and peaceful mind at all times, even in difficult situations. As the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso says:

«"If we train ourselves in meditation with sincerity, we will be able to maintain a calm and peaceful mind throughout our lives."».

📌 No prior experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome to this special retreat.
